Trying this....

I've spent the week discovering blogs owned by some of my very favorite people and have been inspired to start my own. I promise to do my best to be a faithful and frequent writer, although, be warned, my best may not always live up to expectation. Sometimes life just gets so busy and the first thing that will be neglected now will be this blog.

I've been trying to think of great things from my childhood that I can write a grand story about, but sadly, nothing has come to mind. I've never been much of a 'vivid' writer, but maybe I'll learn now that I'll be writing more often.

It's difficult to be really motivated to write something creative in the middle of the day at work (and probably also really wrong to be on here), so I'll try again tonight. Maybe my creativity will be provoked during my stepson's football practice, or possibly when I'm watching Alias this evening.

Until then, I'm off to get a nice caffeinated cup of coffee.
